Default Speakerworks Legend for sale!!!

As bad as I hate to do it, I have decided to place the Acura Legend that was built by Speakerworks for Harry Kimura for sale. I purchased the car 5 years ago from Speakerworks and have put less than 5, 000 additional miles on it. The car has been parked for some time in a large shop where it was protected from the elements. It is in need of two new batteries, all new tires, and probably a tune up. I have not started the car in some time, but the last time I did everything worked beautifully. It features two USD audio horns, 10" midbass, and 15" subs in a aperiodic enclosure powered by 4 Crossfire amps. The signal comes from a highly modified Alpine 7909 then to two Rane 30 band eqs. Pictures of the car are here http://usdaudio.com/sw/cars/acura/. Physically the car does not differ any from these photos other than that it really needs a good detailing interior and exterior, and that the stickers on the rocker panels have been removed.
I have no doubt that this car could kick some serious a$$ in competitions. It really sickens me to have to sell it but I've had a relapse of some medical problems and have a bunch of other projects going on too. So send me some offers (through a private message on here or at bethandryancrouch@charter.net)

Definitely sorry to hear about the medical issues, I will pass on a link to this post to my myspace list as I have a few old time car audio nuts in my friends list. I hope that your health condition improves.

Travis

Thanks Travis, I greatly appreciate it! I hate having to sell the car, it took me an hour just to get through writing what I did, but in the end it is a car, and I have more important things to deal with.

Gone... It is now in my grubby little hands... Ryan - You are an awesome guy and feel free to drop in to ATL anytime and take a listen...

We got the car to work... The Alpine Relay for the Starter Kill stopped it from starting. It took David @ Audio Designs about 10 minutes to trace it down... Man that Relay was overbuilt... :-)

The car ran rough for about 15-20 minutes, now she is purring like a kitty. :-)

Oh wow......the paint is still in great shape, I thought it would be peeling by now. I guess it paid off to wax that car at every show

Does the 7909 still work?

Yep, the paint was in great shape. I kept it in a shop for the 5 years I had it so it was never out in the elements. Glad to hear that it was just a relay! I really hated to see it go, but there was no way around it right now. I do think we should figure someway to have the car compete at your Car Audio Nationals next year. It would be neat to see it win the same event twenty years apart.

I am almost positive that the paint on the car is better than the paint on the wife's 2 year old truck. :-)

Work - Yes. And No. In reading the boards, it appears that while it turns on, etc... That is will probably need a rebuild.... And man is that gonna hurt...
