Hi guys I am looking for some advice if possible.
I have installed the wrong firmware version on my Clarion NZ501e
The version I used is for the double din NX501 and now I have lost a lot of the functions of the unit. Worst of all I cannot open the flip out screen as the double din does not have an open/close button and now does not recognise when the button is pushed.
I have contacted clarion and asked if they could email me the original firmware, to which they replied I would have to send the unit to the out of warranty service centre at a cost of 250 pounds of my hard earned spondoolies
A bit of a sore one considering I paid nearly 1000 pounds when all the accessories were added in.
If anyone could help bring my stereo back to life it would be greatly appreciated.
