Default Jobs for MECP certified installers

just curious but does MECP partner with employers to help certified installers get work? I use to work for a shop years ago. recently I decided to get certified and now I'd like at least to get some part time work at a shop/retailer.

In an industry that would step over their own mother to make a $10 sale.... MECP isn't going to be a huge factor, shows you have the willingness to be better than others.... but I have seen certified installers that I wouldn't let loose on a beater with a set of fisher price toy tools

go apply at some shops for some part time work, this time of the year they should be really busy and need the help

good luck

i like to get in at Best Buy for a part time gig just b/c i really don't know alarms. my first last and only experience with alarms wasn't a good one, i blew the air bags in a E-Class. after that i never touched an alarm, a lot was in part b/c i never got any formal type of training with installing alarms other than a 2 hour crash course lecture at a hotel with DEI. i am willing to learn just that all the shops around here are looking for someone to make them money and not for someone that they'd have to teach anything too.
