Default installing Kenwood DNX6190HD

I have a 2001 Infiniti QX4. The original head unit is oddly shaped. How do i make the Kenwood DNX6190HD fit? What other materials do i need? and is there anything else i need to know in order for the installation process to be smooth.
Thank You for your help.

The head unit i recently received is a double din. So the kit will not work. Also what harnesses and adapters do i need?

Metra Dash Kit 95-7417 is your solution. There are no true DD kits for that car. You will have to do some work yourself to make it work. It is not hard, just some plastic trimming.
As far as harnesses it depends on whether or not you have the Bose system or not. Google is your friend.

It depends on your plans. There is a harness that allows you to connect your Kenwood to the built in system and there are harnesses to completely eliminate the Bose.
Use the Metra 70-7551 to keep the factory amp.
