It's completely up to you. I like the Imprint feature but I would have a shop do the actual "Imprint" for you. The reason being is that it requires a kit that uses a microphone and software. I'm sure it would be cheaper for you to pay a shop to do it than for you to buy the kit yourself. Besides that the shop would be trained at how to complete the process. Nonetheless, it looks like you have a very good system. Ultimately it's up to you. Everybody has their own opinion on what sounds good. It's not too difficult for an installer to do the Imprint after you've initially listened to the vehicle. If you like the way it sounds without the Imprint, save yourself the money. If you're looking for something different, invest the extra cash.
Imprint isn't neccessarily meant for someone who doesn't have the opportunity to have their vehicle tuned by a pro. It's meant to save installers time when doing tuning, which saves everybody money. To tune a car with a typical sound processor it can take hours or even days to get the sound correct. Imprint is designed to make that process quick and easy.
