Anyone put a system in one without a cleansweep?

According to the info on JL's cleansweep page, the factory radio has 4ch full range line level out, so the cleansweep isn't neccessary. I asked JL, and they said they didn't know, and that the information on the site was submitted by someone else.

I've done several of the new style GM SUVs, but used cleansweeps in all of them. Any information would be helpful. Thanks.

i personally i have done a regular 08 tahoe.. but did indeed use a cleansweep... when i was messing with it i do believe you could use regular high/low converters to get your full range sound if desired... but... i prefer the use of the cleansweep especially when retaining the factory head unit...

on a side note... i just recently fixed an 08 escalade where who ever had worked on it previously to me used high lows for all the full range and subs... it didnt sound bad... but... i ended up replacing everything in the car...

There is 4v of full range output on most of the newer GM SUV's. Pull the HU and find the wires listed on the Cleansweep website. You can test them with a multimeter and the cleansweep CD.
