Lets say Im building a slot port box and I place the entire port outside the box, only connecting the port to the box via a slot on the side. Does the internal volume of the port become part of the internal volume of the box as a total. Like say the port is .10 and box internal volume is .40 is the total .50? Or does it not get calulated into the volume because it is not inside the box? I think I know the answer but I just need to be reassured.
