I may have to miss this one :(
I blew the engine in my SVT, spun a rod bearing last weekend.
Dropping in a new 3.0L modified with SVT parts :D
I would do a 3.5L but it does not fit without major modifications seeing my SVT is a 2.5L Manual :)
The 3.5L is about 12mm longer and only comes with an automatic.
It would be nice to be there but I think I will have to wait untill Finals.

Just getting the car on the trailer should be enough work for an award :D
I think the car still weighs about 4000 lbs with the engine out :D
And I lose 5pts for engine compartment in presentation,

Anthony, who's doing your 3.0L swap? are you doing it or having some other guys from CEG help you?

One of my sponsors is DJT Motorsports, they normally do rally and road race cars but I talked them into doing my engine for a small fee :)
I tried contacting Stazi but I no longer have his number.
Still I have pulled together many of Stazi's post on CEG and others from the CEG archives.

Sorry for not being on here in awhile. I have been traveling some. This year the Elite Summer Nationals is going to be better than ever. Joe is working hard to make sure this event is as always a "great" event. There is allot on schedule this year with IASCA and MECA joining forces to have this triple point event. The IASCA and IdBL event will be a "World Record" event for the IdBL competitors and Bass Boxing competitors. Joe has lowered the enter fee for IdBL to 50.00 and this includes power and two passes into the event. This alone is a great value for all the SPL folks. There is also, too no surprise some really cool "TOP 30" trophies. Wait until you guys/ladies see these hand made trophies. WOW - Joe's heart is into making this a great event for everyone involved competitors and vendors. Not only are the organizations offering their special events there will be Drifting, Dyno Runs and a great Car Show to boot. Don't miss this year and if you can please pre-register and first come first serve on the inside parking. Give Joe a call or email him. See you there and Go Get Em.

I was actually encoraged when everybody told me that a row of 7's from you is actually a pretty good score.

That doesnt sound promising! I suppose Id better find out who Sammy is as soon as I get there and keep an eye on him!
So, should I be lucky enough to be invited to judge top 30 SQ on Sunday, I have put together a disc.

You know that I find it funny when people have been doning the SQ thing for 1 or 2 years they think that they should get high scores. One thing you and a lot of other people need to know is when someone is judgeing your car or truck you should know that if my high scores was a 6 who cares I judges everybody the same way. Just because you think you should have gottin a 9 or 8 I didn't think so. I told you your car was a lot better than your truck and you are still not happy. The next time I judge your car why don't I just let you put your scores on the sheet then maybe you will be HAPPY. I heard that you never mind. I guest you may think IAM:mad:. I COULD CARE LESS:whistle:. I just get sick of people who think they know so much but the real deal is they no so little. If you were doing SQ back in the day (MID 90'S) I guest you would be set to KILL all of the people in your class. Hey Young Buck back in the 90'S there were 20-30 cars in each class. If you got top 10 you were the man, top 5 and you were the Sh____it. Over 3 years 42 shows and only 3 times out of the top 10. That was if with my car I had. To this day I am still learning about SQ so you have a lot to learn also so take it from someone who has been around a bit, when I say that I heard this or that means I heard this or that. For your info SAMMY is a IASCA judge so if you are not going to play in IASCA I guest you will not have to find out about SAMMY. I will see you this weekend buddy. Have a safe trip down. LATER it's my bedtime.

Old-skool country? Perhaps some Patsy Kline? It is Spartanburg, after all.

We will be enjoying some lighter, mostly mainstream fares this year, with a few twists thrown in.
Jack Johnson will make the cut, John Mayer and Ingrid Michaelson will be in attendance, if you hear Bob Marley don't be surprised.
Metallica will ensure that the dynamic capabilities of the system are intact, and if you make it to Tori and Mark Knopfler you have done well.
See you guys this weekend!:thumb:

Definitely a great time! I am already looking forward to next year.
All the judges did a great job and everything ran smoothly.
Thanks to Randy, Bryan, Wil and everybody else that let me demo their systems. Very enjoyable and educational!
One thing is for sure, seeing and hearing all these top notch systems has me more fired up than ever to take mine to the next level.
Oh, and thanks to Randy (aka The Hairy Hebrew) for giving me a whole new appreciation for the thong.
