Hello fellow installers, I am curious what scan tools everyone uses out there in the bays. As I read further into the Master study guide it is becoming apparent that a scan tool would not be a bad idea or purchase for a dedicated installer. So who has what and what do you like about it. I have used the Modis from snap-on and the Gynesis when I was a mechanic, but neither were very good with OEM networks. I want to avoid the Manufacturer scan tool if possible due to cost, but I dont know of any aftermarkets than can handle the in depth vehicle specific networks like GMs new LAN system and MOST.
