OK fellas...have a friend has an 02 Avalance with the stock CD player...no OnStar, premium sound nadda.
The deck looks like this:

Question is, he wants an external cassette player (don't ask why:doh: ) and has it jerri-rigged with an FM modulator right now, BUT locally, there is a very faint station at the frequency he usually listens to the FM mod on. (he lives several hundred miles away where it isn't a problem.)
I am wondering if there is an interface available to utilize the "AUX" button on the factory deck? There is an empty receptacle on the rear of the deck next to the regular power/speaker harness. Is there an input adapter we might be able to use for this???
