2007 ESCALADE Video Bypass/Input

So I have a customer that is getting one of these. What he wants to do is be able to play the DVD on the factory radio screen while driving, and also use it as an output to headrests that we will be putting in. Also wants to be able to take an external video source like a PS2 and have that go into it. Has anybody done this yet? Any help would be great.

I think NavTV makes the piece you need.

I think Icon-TV makes something nice for this too. But without any switches involved. you use all of the factory buttons to switch it on and off.

Yes. NavTV does make this part. I just installed one into Dontrelle Willis' 07 Escalade, and it works great. It's only 5 wires. The problem is, it's VERY expensive.

It's not that expensive as far as other NavTv stuff goes. Pretty easy install...but we did have a little glitch that they said was common on the first few to hit the market. But they did send us a diagram to fix things and all is well and works as claimed.

So with the navtv piece will it just give me input to the factory head unit or can i take the dvd that is in the factory unit and feed that to other screens?

I have an 07 Escalade with a factory indash DVD and NO screen in the vehicle. I need to add a screen in the rear and the customer wants the front unit to power it. What interface do I need?
