I know that if u r sponsored by a car audio company, u have to compete pro ..... what about if someone was sponsored by a performance company, does this mean he can stay novice/amatuer or do you have to compete pro?

Thanx in advance,
Mark

The way i read the rules, if it ain't a company that makes 12-volt audio (or maybe video) you should be good to go.

The version of the new rules I saw would have something different to say...

Free set of rims...welcome to PRO!
Free body kit...welcome to PRO!

Oh...just a clarification.
This WAS a PRELIMINARY version of the rules...this, of course, could have easily been changed for the final printing...whenever that may be
