Well if I did, I was just stating what I saw as what happened. But someone tought that it would be better in another forum. being it was directed at IASCA and there for I posted it here. As I stated in my post, I believe that IASCA should have all members vote on the issues and board members. it is called a democracy.

Tim,
While I agree with you that it would be nice for IASCA to give voting priveleges to members, we have to remember that IASCA isn't a democracy. Just because our country was founded on the principles of democracy doesn't mean that our clubs should be required to operate as democracies. (Yes, I consider IASCA to be essentially little more than a club. A club with several thousand members, maybe, but a club regardless.) Even if IASCA gave members voting priveleges, we probably wouldn't get any better than 50% voter response.
My point? I'm not holding my breath for voting priveleges . . .
Peace,
Keane

Is a 50% voter response not better than not being able to voice you're opinion at all?
What is the average voter response for any election. Those who wish to voice their opinion can and those who wish to stay silent have to accept whatever was voted in.
Just my two cents

wagon,
You had mentioned that they may of been ****ed because you posted here. Well NOBODY seems to be using the Iasca forum! Why not? beats me, so until the members start using that board this is pretty much all we have. I've posted some concerns about zone 8 on the iasca board. NO REPLY!! in all fairness I did receive an email from the new director, he stated that my concerns have been fowarded to the board, but still NO
ANSWER!!!
