alright...the topic may be a LITTLE misleading...
i have an 89 ford thunderbird supercharged...while im not a street racer or go to the tracks, i like to gun it every once in awhile...today after about 10 minutes of hard driving i noticed a few oil and water leaks coming out from under the car...

i just had 3000$ of work done to make sure EVERYTHING is working...

it just seems that everytime i really run this car hard for any amount of time, it seems to give me little messages to quit...

the question is: do you think its time i just drive this thing casually ALLLLLL the time and just worry about the sound and looks of it, or is this normal and nothing to worry about?

thanks,
dan

I don't race mine because my car is dog slow but every time I get under the car I find a new leak or bad halfshaft or worn out rubber bushings or bad tie rod. It's constant man and it boggles the mind sometimes. I know my cars 14 years old but it loves to blow little things out like gaskets and such. What are ya running btw? What mods?

BTW forgot about this site http://www.sccoa.com/

seals go bad the best thing to try fist is to tighten all oil pan bolts, valve cover bolts and check for leaks around the head these are usually where oil will start coming from. i had the sam prob with my 81 gmc replaced the valve cover gaskets fixed a lot of the leakage but i still had a leak by the oil pressure sending unit was a 5 dollar part and about 15 mins worth the work not a drop since.
