If I put a box under my backseat in my truck where the speaker is aiming up towards the bottom of the seat, will it cause there to be cancellation if I put the port aiming forward toward the front of the truck?

Instead, should I put the port aiming up towards the seat also? I would just have to bend the port to accomplish this.

No. The bass wavelengths are very long, and it doesn't really matter where the port is as long as it has space to "breathe." I like to use least twice the diameter of the port in clearance as a good rule-of-thumb.

A 100Hz wave has a wavelength of over 11 feet. Lower frequencies have longer wavelengths. (approximately: wavelength=Hz*1130)
