Car Alarms

I am on the prowl for a very decent but yet not overly expensive car alarm. I hear Viper and DEI make some of the best does anyone have any recommendations?

Also, this might sound crazy but I was thinking, do they make a car alarm with a siren that sounds like a woman screaming? People hear car alarms so often that some don't even bother to turn around and look, however when someone hears a girl screaming almost everybody wants to see what's going on. You know if they make those?

actually, you're gonna have to refine your search to a woman srcreaming "fire"

studies show that having women just plain 'scream' on the street had little response from neighbors (urban, suburban settings). whereas, the same areas were tested with the sample females yelling "fire" and a much higher response was had.

but i'm not sure if that's legal anywayz

why not just have one yelling explatives? that'd be pretty cool if the G5 systems allowed you to 'upload' your own "outgoing messages" from your laptop...

You are better off in my experience to make as much noise as possible by connecting air horns, multiple sirens and honking the car's horns as well. People don't respond unless the noise really interferes with their quiet environment.

This may sound a little crazy, and im not sure it can be done , instead of hooking your siren to the module hook up your girlfriend to the bonnet of your car, then when someone wats to break in have the module hook up to her arse, im sure she will yell hr=er *** off!!!

I've had a similar idea cooking in my head for some time now.

Mount a small indoor/outdoor speaker under the hood.

Hide an cheap/used tape deck up under the dash somewhere.

Connect the tape player's (red) power wire to your alarm's siren output.

Record an endless repetition of Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey songs on a cassete, and put it in the player.
